Warranty & Care Policy
Damaged, Faulty or Missing Items
Please inspect your goods upon delivery.
If any part is damaged, missing, or faulty, you must notify us as follows:
- Missing parts: Report within 24 hours of delivery.
- Damaged or faulty items: Report within 48 hours of noticing the issue.
To lodge a claim, email cs.monsterfurniture@gmail.com with:
- Your full name and contact details.
- Proof of purchase (tax invoice); and
- Clear photos or videos showing the issue.
Once we receive your claim, our team will review and respond within 7 business days.
If approved, we will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the circumstances.
Freight costs for faulty or damaged items will be covered by us.
Warranty Policy
All products sold by Monster Furniture Clearance Depot come with the following warranties (unless otherwise specified):

Warranty Terms
- Warranty applies to domestic household use only.
- Warranty is non-transferable and begins from the delivery date listed on your tax invoice.
- Replacement of a product does not restart or extend the warranty period.
- Warranty applies to the original purchaser only.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage from incorrect assembly, misuse, neglect, or improper storage.
- Normal wear and tear, fading, or fabric discolouration.
- Damage caused by spills, stains, or cleaning chemicals.
- Accidental damage, pet damage, or exposure to sunlight or moisture.
- Acts of nature (fire, flood, storm, etc.).
- Defects disclosed at the time of sale for clearance or floor-stock items.
- Failure to follow proper care or cleaning instructions.
Warranty Claims Process

We will assess the claim and respond within 14 business days.
If approved, we will arrange repair, replacement, or refund (less any applicable fair-use deductions).
Refunds & Store Credit
- Refunds are processed via the original payment method.
- Credit card refunds may take up to 10 business days.
- Purchases made via gift card or store credit cannot be refunded for cash.
- Store credit is valid for future purchases and non-redeemable for cash.
- Refunds on major defects may be subject to reasonable deductions for fair use or freight.
Delivery & Collection (Pick-Up) Policy
Delivery
- A designated delivery window will be provided, but specific times cannot be guaranteed. Delivery timelines are estimates only and may vary due to supplier or freight issues.
- Delivery fees vary based on location and size of goods.
- Someone must be present to receive delivery and sign for the goods.
- Please ensure clear access to the delivery area. If access is limited and furniture needs to be disassembled or redelivered, additional charges will apply.
- If no one is present or delivery is cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled date, redelivery fees will apply.
- Inspect your goods before signing as “received in good order.” Claims for visible damage after acceptance cannot be considered.
- Assembly and Packaging materials are the customer’s responsibility
Customer Pick-Ups
- Pick-up times are 9:30 – 4:30pm
- Please bring your original tax invoice or receipt upon collection.
- Inspect all goods carefully before signing for them — once collected, we cannot accept claims for visible damage, scratches, or missing parts.
- For safety reasons, our staff cannot assist with loading furniture into vehicles. Please ensure you have adequate help and suitable transport.
- If a service repair is required for an item originally collected by you, it is the customer’s responsibility to return the goods to our store or warehouse for assessment or repair.
Caring for Your Furniture
To help your furniture last and stay looking beautiful, please follow these care guidelines:
General Use
Use furniture only as intended.
Avoid sitting on armrests, standing on tabletops, or leaning back on chairs. This can damage frames and joints.
Sunlight & Heat
Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause fading, drying, or warping of timber, fabric, and leather.
Keep furniture away from direct sunlight, heaters, and air-conditioning vents where possible.
Leather Upholstery
Leather is a natural material that develops character over time.
- Clean regularly using a soft cloth and recommended leather cleaner.
- Avoid harsh chemicals and direct sunlight.
- Wipe spills immediately to prevent staining or drying.
Fabric Upholstery
- If threads become loose, carefully cut them instead of pulling.
- Vacuum regularly with an upholstery attachment to remove dust.
- Avoid sharp objects (rings, toys, belt buckles) which can snag fabric.
- Keep pets off furniture to prevent scratches and pilling.
- Follow the manufacturer’s care label instructions.
Timber & Veneer Surfaces
- Timber is natural and unique, with its own colour and grain variations.
- Use coasters, placemats, and heat-resistant pads under hot dishes.
- Avoid placing hot, wet, or rough items directly on the surface.
- Wipe with a soft, damp cloth — never use abrasive cleaners.
Marble, Stone & Composite Finishes
- Every piece is unique; markings and colour variations are natural.
- Wipe spills immediately with a clean, damp cloth.
- Always use coasters and heat protection when placing glasses or hot objects.
- Avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners.
Metal & Chrome Finishes
- Dust regularly to prevent build-up.
- Clean gently using a soft cloth or recognised metal polish if required.
- Avoid sharp or hard objects that may cause scratching.
Glass
- Use standard glass cleaner and a soft, lint-free cloth.
- Avoid contact between glass and sharp objects.
- Do not place hot items directly on glass surfaces.
- Always lift glass tops with care — never by one end.
Battery-Powered Components
- Battery packs have a lifespan of approximately 12 months.
- Do not use battery packs beyond this period, as doing so may pose safety risks.
- Replace batteries annually and follow manufacturer safety guidelines.
Dispute Resolution
If you are not satisfied with our response to a claim or warranty matter, you may contact your local Consumer Protection Office or the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC) for assistance.
